In 1978, Nick DiCello started Ohio State Waterproofing with just $200 after his previous employer abruptly closed. Instead of walking away, he stepped up - recruiting key employees and making sure local vendors received what they were owed from the previous company. That commitment to integrity set the foundation for everything Ohio State Waterproofing would become.
Under Nick's leadership, Ohio State Waterproofing patented its Multi-Step waterproofing system in 1984 - still the only system on the market that attacks water issues from inside and outside. The company has since installed over 90,000 successful waterproofing and foundation repair systems, earning Nick the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2009.
